Cutle is a one-cut geometry puzzle where you slice an unusual shape and try to divide its total area into two equal halves.
Here's a quick look at the game:
One shape. One line. One chance to prove that your eyes are better at geometry than you think. Cutle turns an incredibly simple idea into a tense precision challenge: slice the displayed shape as close to perfectly in half as possible.
What Is Cutle?
Cutle is a browser-based shape-cutting puzzle built around visual estimation. Each round presents an irregular filled shape, and your task is to divide its area into two equal parts with a single straight cut.
There are no complicated levels, characters, or lengthy tutorials. The challenge comes from judging the shape itself. Wide sections, narrow extensions, curves, corners, and uneven edges can all make the true center of the area difficult to spot.
Once you make your cut, the game calculates the resulting ratio. A perfect result would be 50:50, but getting close is already an achievement. A split of 48:52 or better is generally considered a successful attempt.
One Cut Is All You Get
Your first move matters because Cutle records the result immediately. You cannot slowly trim the shape or adjust the line after releasing it. You must inspect the entire figure, choose an angle, and commit.
This creates a satisfying mix of puzzle solving and risk. A line that looks perfectly centered may produce a surprisingly uneven result, while an unusual diagonal cut can sometimes land much closer to 50:50.
Controls
- Mouse: Click and drag across the shape to draw a cutting line
- Touchscreen: Touch and drag to position the slice
- Release: Confirm the cut and reveal the ratio
How to Improve Your Score
Do not focus only on the shape’s width or height. Cutle measures area, so a bulky corner may contain more space than a long but narrow section.
Try imagining the shape as a flat object balanced on your cutting line. If one side looks visually heavier, shift or rotate the line before releasing it.
Diagonal cuts are especially useful for irregular shapes. A vertical or horizontal slice may look safer, but it is not always the most accurate option.
A Fast Puzzle With Real Pressure
Cutle is ideal for players who enjoy daily puzzles, visual challenges, geometry games, and quick score-based experiences. A round takes only a moment, yet chasing a cleaner split can keep you thinking long after the result appears.
